Accessibility
Access to my apartment is up some steep stone steps to the terrace so access by wheelchair is not possible.
Outside
A table and chairs is available on the terrace.
Skiing
Alpbach has excellent skiing for all standards from beginners to advanced. We have two ski schools each offering top class instruction with English speaking instructors. We have 21 ski lifts covering 45km of pisted runs and plenty of scope for piste/off-piste skiing, touring and langlauf. Continued investment by the lift company ensures excellent skiing from mid-December to mid-April.
Special interest holidays
In summer there is walking, swimming (in local lakes), mountain biking, whitewater rafting and many other adventures activities awaiting visitors.
Travel
Alpbach is accessed easily by road, rail and air. Innsbruck Airport is just 1 hour away, Munich and Salzburg are 2 hours away, I can arrange transfers for you.
Alternatively, there is an excelent train service available to Brixlegg which is at the start of the Albachtal, 15 minutes away by car or local bus. If you are driving here the channel ports are about 8-11 hours drive away.

Alpbach has plenty of fun and adventure to offer, you can pick up a weekly programme from the tourist office but here are a few items of interest: Wining and dining - Alpbach and Inneralpbach have an excellent choice of restaurants, four star hotels, fine Austrian-style restaurants and farmhouse inns offering regional, European and International cuisine. Custom and Culture: The Alpbach Village Band performs weekly during the summer and Tirolean Evenings with the local Schuplatter are popular events. Other facilities: Spa Supermarket, hairdresser, post office, banks, Doctor and Pharmacy.
Winter activities: snow shoe walks, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing, torchlight walks, winter walking routes.
Summer activities: Excursions to many places of interest including Rattenberg, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Krimmel Falls, Grosglockner and many more.
