Other: L shaped covered terrace upstairs with sitting area (rattan furniture) and dining area (table and chairs - seats 10) with great views.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen, bath towels and beach/pool towels are provided. Linen and bath towels changed weekly. House cleaned at start of rental period. For rentals of 2 weeks or more, optional cleaning each week.

Accessibility
All sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are downstairs and access would be simple for people with mobility difficulties. Access to living accommodation upstairs would be problematic.

Huge walled private pool area. Pool 10 x 5m with Roman steps. Sun loungers, chairs and occasional tables. Shade provided by electric awning and magnificent palm tree. Charcoal barbecue next to secluded dining terrace with table and chairs. Lawn adjacent to pool area suitable for sunbathing or games. Equipment for badminton and boules provided. 4 acres of garden with some cultivated and landscaped, some wild. Fruit orchard with citrus and soft fruit. Help yourself to any ripe fruit!

Coast/Beach
20 minutes drive to the renowned beaches of Es Trenc, Cala Lombards and Cala Pi. 30-40 minutes to the east coast resorts of Cala d'Or, Porto Christo, Porto Colom, Porto Petra.

Golf
Excellent golf course 2 championship courses (Son Antem - Marriott resort west of Llucmajor off motorway to airport) within 10 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays
Walking, cycling and bird-watching are all very popular on the island.

Travel
15 minutes drive from Palma airport. Car hire (or use of car) is essential.

Distances
20 minutes to the centre of Palma with all its fabulous amenities.

Excellent supermarkets in Llucmajor, plus a range of different shops - shoes, children's clothes, etc all at non-tourist prices. Palma renowned for its high quality boutique fashion shops (shoes to die for!) as well as C&A, Mango and Zara. Good selection of local restaurants some of which offer 10% discount to Son Ramis Nou guests. Many cash card machines in Llucmajor. Market every Friday and Fruit & Vegetable market Wednesday and Sunday.

Booking deposit 25% of rental. Balance of rental due plus Key Deposit payable 8 weeks before departure. Key deposit of £500 per week booked released within 3 weeks of return subject to outstanding claims.

About the owner
We (John and Eve) have owned the house for 5 years and it is our home in Majorca. We do not consider it as an 'investment property' and spend a lot of time there with friends and family or on our own. We have worked hard over the years to transform the house and garden into a beautiful and comfortable 'home from home'. The house is well off the beaten track (but also close to all the facilities) and is a haven of peace and tranquility. We do not usually spend very much time there in July and August, and so, for the first time, have decided to offer the house for holiday rental during that period. If, however, you are interested in renting at other times of the year, please do contact us and we will see if we can come to an arrangement.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We chose the area for its easy access to the airport and Palma but is away from the main tourist areas. The local towns are delightful and very Mallorquin - not very many English voices!

Unique benefits of the property
Peace and quiet, utter tranquility away from the madding crowds. Views to die for, sunsets unbelievably romantic. Stunning pool area. Fantastic 'wild gardens'.
